I am having roses, lillies, mums in a 8 inch bubble bowl vase. My hall will give me tapers to put on the tables, I was not going to use them- instead I purchased a lot of votives to place around the base of each centerpiece. As I look at more pics of low centerpieces, I am loving the look of long tapers.
Will it be overkill to use both?

Personally, I don't think there's any such thing as 'too many candles'. Can you do a mock CP with all the candles to see what it looks like? Might help you decide.

I think it would be fine.... 15' Pillars might be overkill, but I think tapers always add a nice touch.

That would look very nice. Have them put the tapers on the four corners and then the votives in between. I love candles.. the more there are the more romantic a room looks.
