I was an ICU RN for about 10 years, now am a nurse practitioner - family, but I work only with adults. I also do nurse ed. at Mercy. You?

Wow I may know who you are actually. I am a Physician Assistant but i rotated through mercy hospital ER...small world! I knew you had to be a colleague with that pulmonary embolus explanation which was very good btw.

Last May - Oct. I was in the CCU at Mercy, and then doing the nurse ed. since Oct. working nights twice a week. The ER has one or two NPs that are really good, and at Mercy the PA's are housestaff. Where do you work now?

I am actually out of work right now...great timing right... sigh, I got laid off two weeks after my engagement, on my birthday! I have been out of work 3 months now and although i am getting unemployement this wedding planning is all that much more stressful. I am gonna be starting an oncall position at Good sam ER but I have no benefits etc, still looking for a full time position if you hear anything!
