Target goofed - but I benefit!
My local Target (Commack, on 454) has some wedding things in the One Spot again. (Vases, notecards, white and silver organza bags, little white favor boxes, tealights and holders, etc.)
There was a sign up that said '75% off ALL GREEN AND BLUE DOT ITEMS' in one little section that was full of stuff obviously left over from their previous display. All of those items had blue dots.
So I flipped over the wedding stuff, and it had GREEN dots, as with all of the other new items. At this point I'm thinking the sign is wrong, but hey, its posted!
Sooooo I cleaned out the shelf holding the silver organza bags - I ended up with 20 packages of 8 organza bags (160 bags total) and headed to the register. Of course, they rang up at $1 each. I mentioned the sign to the cashier, the manager that was standing right there went to look at it, and sure enough he came back with the sign in his hands, stating it was wrong and he doesn't know who put it there, but its Target's policy to give the customer the prices that are on the sign, regardless of whether they're right or wrong.
The cashier fixed the price, and I ended up walking out of there with 160 organza bags and 8 favor boxes (for BM and GM gifts) for $6!
