Target registries

Is the return policy at Target bad?

What happens if you get doubles from your registry because someone just bought you something off the registry there but didn't actually print out the registry checklist and bring it to the counter to scan?

I don't want to be stuck with doubles if people don't have receipts or if it's morethan 90 days, etc..

One of my friends registered there and had a problem with returns (the whole 90 day thing) so I decided against registering there.

I bought another friend some towels off of the registry (and had it scanned and everything at the checkout) and only about 1/3 of them came off. It took a week to get everything else figured out (I'm one of those people who immediately checks the internet to make sure everything is removed, especially when more than one thing is purchased). It wasn't an easy process.
