target vs. fortunoff's - calphalon cookwear

Okay - I need someone to verify that I am NOT CRAZY! I just compared the calphalon cookwear sets at fortunoff's and target - and target is cheaper by over a hundred dollars!!! Am I missing something - maybe they aren't exactly the same sets??
I bring this up because I recently posted about cookwear and if it is that much cheaper at target - I should register for it there!!!
check out these links - am I wrong?? Did I miss something?

It's different. A lot of vendors make a different versions of their products for different retailers.

Is it different? I thought it might be but it's hard to tell online. so do you think it's a lower end version for target?

Yes, those are 2 completely differnet sets.

The one at Fortunoff is the Calphalon One series. That is their highest priced series because it is the best.

The one at Target is the Hard Anodized set with is supposed to be a lower quality set.

Calphalon One Infused Anodized
Calphalon One Infused Anodized removes the limits imposed by other cooking surfaces and puts you in total control. Calphalon One lets you brown, sear, sauce and cook exactly the way you want, without being at the mercy of sticking, staining or tough clean-up. It's the one surface you need in your kitchen. By means of an exclusive, breakthrough anodization process (patent pending), interior and exterior surfaces of the pans are infused with an advanced release polymer. Unlike nonstick coatings that simply sit on top of the metal, this material actually penetrates below the surface, into the pores of the metal. The infused anodized cooking surface offers superb durability and versatility in the kitchen.
