how much time before the wedding should the taste tasting take place?

I think every hall is diferent. We actually had ours before we even signed the contract just to make sure the food was good.

we also had our tasting around the same time we booked the hall...

We did ours exactly a year before the wedding - a year AFTER we had booked it. Most people do it right before the wedding to help make the menu selections easier...
I just did it to shut my FMIL up... she was on my back how since we werent paying $300 p/p that it must not be good.... The food tasting sure shut her up

We just had ours Thursday night!! Flowerfield does there's 6 months or so before your wedding

we did a preliminary tasting before we booked just to make sure that the food was good! but we'll do an extensive tasting a few months before.

We booked our hall in Jan for July 05 and we did our tasting in mid-May. Our hall recommended doing it about 3 months after booking, but we weren't able to get all the parents together til May.
