do you have to request a tasting and if so when should i do so?

they should tell you when you should do it - you just have to schedule it with them. we did ours about two months before the wedding so we could pick the menu

I did my tasting like 2 weeks after I booked my RH.. I just wanted ot make SURE I liked the food while I still had time to change my mind just in case! I called them and booked it myself but I am not sure how other RHs do it.. HTH!
