I just ordered my cakes for tastings. They are charging me! Do all bakeries do that?

mine didn't

i just called them and told them i wanted to come in for a tasting and they said no problem.

dortoni's in levittown is the house baker for crest hollow, jericho terrace and a couple of other neighboring RHs

Our hall did not provide a cake so when we went some places did and some places did. The place we actually got our cake from charged us 25 dollars for the tasting and i was surprise because it wasnt like they gave us a whole cake it was really small samples to taste

we went to dortonis & la bonne boulangerie and neither charged us (same owners tho).

Mine's not charging me. I'm surprised they would charge you if the cake is part of your contract. I would call your banquet manager and double check

Ugh I know...they did it to me too...ridiculous, I wasn't very pleased with them (RP)
