Tasting at the Vanderbilt

Tasting at the Vanderbilt

Just got back from our tasting at the Vanderbilt. It was great. Everything that I had heard about the food being wonderful was proven true. To other Vanderbilt brides and Lovin Oven brides whose tastings are coming up, you are in for a treat. The tasting was 3 hours and they served us a first and second course selection and three combination courses. FH, parents and I all shared and tried everything. We then tried six of the entrees that are available. All were very tasty. Then we were brought an assortment of cakes from Audrey's Bakery. In addition, wine, coffee, soda, et cetera were served. It was a good opportunity to taste their house wine and compare with upgrades. The Vanderbilt staff and maitre'd were there to answer questions and I found them to be very helpful. Now we just have to select our courses, entrees and set up an appointment to go to Audrey's Bakery for the cake.

Sorry this is kind of short. I'm experiencing a bit of food coma

I have to second bellepoque's post. It was a great tasting, and convinced my father and FH that it was worth the long drive everyone will have to get to our weddings. They are super picky. Everyone has nothing to worry about it you are booking with Lovin Oven.

I went too! Our parents loved it. My favorite was the lobster and shrimp crepe. And the Silk and Satin dessert was the best. It was so nice to be there and just enjoy the food. Because we probably won't have time to eat anything on the day of.

So true. We ordered the Silk and Satin as our Groom's cake.

We took a bite from our plate at our wedding and the rest we had packed up and brought home.

With the wedding over, I wish we could be guests at some event there so that we can just sit back and enjoy the food.
