We just got our letter in the mail in regards to our tasting, YAY! What exactly is it? I know that sounds silly but.....do you sample everything that they offer? cakes, appetizers, entres, everything?!
When we went for our tasting my parents, his parents and the two of us got to order just about everything from the menu. They have a restaurant at our RH, so it was a nice dinner. Each time we said, 'No thanks, we don't want that', they brought it out to us anyway. They wanted us to taste their food, drinks, apppetizers and even drinks.....full plates/sizes, on them!
We brought our mothers to our tasting at the NRC. We sampled some appetizers (CH items), 3 pastas, 3 salads, and 3 entrees (beef, chicken and fish). The entrees that they let us sample were their most popular dishes that people choose. They didn't let us taste any desserts though, so I was pretty bummed about that.
I think it really depends on the place....we had to choose appetizers, a salad, and entrees to taste, we didn't get to taste desserts or cake.
