FH and I do not eat meat. We'll eat chicken sometimes, but for the most part no. Is it tacky for me to bring my parents along for the tasting since they will actually be able to taste everything? It just seems like having 4 people at a tasting is pushing it a little, but I don't know what else to do.

I wouldn't worry about it. This is time for the hall to please you. They wouldnt be making any more food so I don't see why they would have a problem.

We had six people at ours. DH and I do not at fish, but we wanted to offer a good fish dish, so we brought my parents, his mom and her boyfriend. This gave us a chance to see what other people like. They said we could have up to 6 people, so thats what we did. We wanted other opinons becaus enot everyones tastebuds are the same.
