Girls when you went for yours was it just you and FH? Did you bring parents too? What is proper etiquette?

Re: Tastings
We haven't gone to ours yet. Our place allows us to have 6 people total. so me, FI, my parents most likely and I don't know if his parents would be able to come so we'll see who else when the time comes.

Re: Tastings
My hall is booked already- they do the tastings 2 months b4 the wedding this way you can design the menu. I have to make the appt today. I guess I'll ask the venue if I can bring my parents. I dint wanna just show up w a small group - it'll look like we aree there for the free food. Lol

Re: Tastings
I just went to my venue's tasting last night. My venue allowed up to 6 people and you are allowed to bring whoever you want. It was awesome. Enjoy it.

Re: Tastings
Our hall is letting us bring both sets of parents. We will go for the tasting in July or August.

Re: Tastings
We brought both sets of parents, and had an amazing time! Since our parents are paying for the RH, it was only right to include them.
Our tasting was a full sit down dinner with drinks and all....assuming yours will be this way, keep in mind that a tip to the server is greatly appreciated.

Re: Tastings
My RH allowed us 6 people (DH, FIL, MIL, mom, stepdad, and me) and we did it about 6 months before the wedding, but they would allow you to do it anytime after you booked. It was FOUR HOURS long with the most amazing food I've ever had!!!

Re: Tastings
We did our tasting before we signed, I wonder if we get to do another one before we pick our menu. It was only me and FH, we didn't want anyone else sticking their two cents in.

Re: Tastings
We can only have 6 at the tasting.
Before we booked it was us, mom, MOH/sis and we invited his mom and sister, but they didn't come.
The final menu tasting will be us, my parents and sister so there is only one spot open so I'm not sure what to do since we can't have both parents... I don't want to be rude and not invite his parents, but my parents are paying for the wedding so we may just have 5 people.

Re: Tastings
we are having our tastings next month even though our wedding is in 2013 because neither one of us have been to a wedding or party at our hall, nor do we know anyone who has. We will get a full refund if we do not like the food. We are allowed up to 6 people for the tastings, us, mine and his parents.

We didn't have ours yet but we're allowed to bring 6 people. It'll most likely be us (of course), my parents and FIL's. If someone can't make it, then I'll ask my MOH's to come.

Re: Tastings
I went to 2 tastings. The first one we went to was at the Chateau La Mer which was amazing! It was me,my FH, my daughter, FIL and MIL, and best man - so 6 people. I also had a food tasting at The Riviera and we also had the same 6 people. The RH are usually very accomodating and welcome parents and in-laws.
