Re: Tattoo Make Up
if you are gettign your face makeup done by a pro, ask her at your trial & she shoudl be able to cover it up, but she may have to know to be prepared with something special.
Otherwise, I think I the stuff you can buy in the store is called Dermablend?

Re: Tattoo Make Up
I don't anything about it firsthand but I know they sell a kit on the knot.
I've used dermablend before. I had to combine 2 shades to get the right one so it was more $$. My tatoo is big and dark so it took a lot of makeup to cover it up. They sell it at Ulta so you can try it out before buying it.
BTW- I am now in the process of having my tattoo removed with laser surgery!

Re: Tattoo Make Up
Ive used dermablend and it covers OK but it wears off - i dont think you want the makeup coming off on your veil and dress. I bought the tattoo cover kit from The Knot for my wedding - I dont want to take a chance on the dermablend again!

How is that going? That is something I am definately interested in, but I heard that it takes a really long time.

Re: Tattoo Make Up
It takes about 6-10 sessions and you have to wait at least 4 weeks in between each one. I have a band that wraps around my ankle and it took about 5 minutes. If it was any longer, I couldn't have handled it. It was VERY painful, much worst then getting the tatoo even though they had cold air on it to numb it a little. They make you wear special goggles and they change the lasers for each color. I only have black and blue on mine. Afterwards it swelled up and hurt, then it blistered. That was a week ago today. Its still blistered and looks gross. I have to clean it with peroxide and put bacitracin on it several times a day to keep it from getting infected. I also can't go out in the sun- they said it would take longer to heal that way. It already looks a little faded though so I do see a difference.

Ouch! But I am sure the pain will be well worth it when it is gone. If you don't mind me asking, can you please fm me with how much is it costing you. Thanks.
