ok anyone here have tats that will show on their wedding day? do you care?
I have 2 on my back and I'm hoping my dress covers them. Its not that I'm embarrassed of them. I just have a conservative Jewish family and I don't want them insulted.

i have both of my wrists done, so theyre gonna cover. which im totally fine with. My mom is a little on edge about it. But whatever.

I only have the one on my foot. I guess technically it will be showing because if a picture is taken with me lifting my dress up to walk or of me putting on my shoes you're gonna see it, but I really don't care. I obviously got my tattoo because I like to show it off and if it gets in pictures than so be it.

I have one tattoo on my hip so I don't think it'll be showing unless I'm wearing a seriously questionable dress. That being said, I would cover visible tattoos (with makeup or the type of dress) if I had them. My parents are very traditional and I know they'd be upset.
I had a friend who had one tattoo on her left shoulder and purposely got another on her right so it'd be 'balanced' on her wedding day.
So I guess to each her own.

I have 3 tattoos, but only one might show on my ankle if i lift my dress up to take pics of my shoes...
Im in the same boat as you.. my jewish family will not like it but they know i have it so there is nothing i can do

mine are reasonably big.
I have a tramp stamp (lol) on my lower back and a lizard on my lower to center back. I'm HOPING the dress I love covers it. eek!

i have 3 and 2 might possibly show. One will definitely show cuz it's on my arm and i dont mind showing it - it's me - my parents and FH's parent's know the deal so I'm not going to try and hide it. I have another one on my lower back which might show if the dress is not pulled up high enough - but i think it might just peek out.

but for those that are concerned, ask your make up artist to cover them for you... might even try air brushing, as that wont rub off like foundation would...

i have 4 but none of them will be showing. if your worried about what your family might say, then have your makeup artist cover it up for you, or buy one of those kits online - i h ear they are fabulous. or, if they are low enough on your back, forget the coverup makeup and get a dress that is high enough in the back that will cover it!

i have one on both wrists, one on each ankle, one behind my ear, and a tramp stamp.
I'm not 100% sure I'm covering my wrists yet. Not sure how I could go about doing that bc they are fairly large

if your makeup artist does airbrushing she can cover it up with no problem. Most of them do cover ups

I have one on my wrist, which is in memory of my grandfather so I definetly want that one showing at all times so it's like my grandfather is with me on the day of my wedding.
I also have one on my upper back in between my shoulders that will show. It's a cross with an italian flag in the middle in memory of my dad's parents.
So basically they are both memorial tattoos that I want to be shown.
But my other two [lower back & ribs] will be hidden by my dress!
I have one on my hip and one on the back of my neck. I'm wearing my hair up so my neck tattoo will definitely be showing. I'm also hoping to get another tattoo behind my ear before the wedding as well.
So, nope, not covering up.

well i now have two.. as u guys know lol...but they wont be showing for the wedding day....even if you could always cover them up with make up fi you didnt want them to show..

I have two on my back, but only one can be seen. I love it, I think it's gorgeous and I personally don't care who I offend with it. LOL! Here's a pic of me in my dress and you can see the tattoo on my upper right shoulder- it's a celtic knot in the shape of a heart.

I have 2 right now. The one on my lower back wont show but i have a band going around my arm that will show. I have no intentions on covering them up and will probably get 2 more in areas that will show by the wedding.
