Do any of you have tattoos? And if so are you covering them up for the wedding. I have three, the Mets symbol on my ankle, angel wings and a halo on my wrist, and a small shooting star on my shoulder blade. The one on my ankle won't be visible but the other two will. Fmil thinks I should cover them up. I'm not going to because they are a part of who I am but I'm just curious if anyone else is.

I have back tattoos which you can see most of it when I wear a tank top so most definiately will show wearing a wedding dress. I don't plan to cover mine at all.

I have a few, and one is on my foot, so there's a possibility that it might be visible, but it's not like I hide it, so I figured why should I attempt to cover it?

I have a really small one in my inner ankle that you won't be able to see and my daughter's name on my inner wrist, all my other ones won't be visible. I am not covering any of them up.

I have three, only one will be visible at the wedding if I put my hair up, (it's on the back of my neck) which I'm still debating. If it's visible, I'll absolutely cover it with make-up.
I LOVE my tattoos, and any other day, I wear them proudly - but I feel like I'd be slapping God in the face a little bit, and our big European family would be doing the sign of the cross as I walked down the aisle. I just don't want my tattoos to be the focus, and I know I'd definitely regret not covering it up.

My sister got married and has a butterfly on her back by her shoulder blade and we put little bling crystals on the corner of the wings hehe It was a cute little addition.

omg its so funny that you posted this because I seriously was logging on to post pretty much the same thing.
The topic came up at work today because a patient said she liked my tattoos and I said thank you. Then one of my coworkers made a comment that I should cover them up on my wedding day.
Almost every single one of my tattoos will be visible on my wedding day. I have small ones on each wrist, one behind my ear, one on my shoulder blade, one on each foot and one on my ankle.
I love my tattoos and each of them mean something so they'll absolutely be showing on my wedding day.

That's such a cute idea. I'll have to pass that on to my moh when she gets married. She has a butterfly in the same place.

That's what Fmil said but I don't know I feel like god has bigger things to worry about then my tattoos showing.

gemini's are the greatest. in fact my first tattoo was my gemini symbol with a butterfly lol
some of my tattoos are also my way of having certain people with me on my wedding day. Like my grandmothers (both of them are passed and they both had breast cancer and one of my tattoos is a butterfly with a breast cancer ribbon as the body in honor of them) and i have another butterfly (above my gemini symbol) for my grandfather because thats what he used to call me :)

I love that. The one on my wrist is for quite a few people who will not be there on my wedding day including my dad and my cousin though I also think of them both whenever I look at my Mets tattoo.

I have about 6 or 7 tattoos, one of which you will DEF see because it goes up and over my shoulder :) I got a staples dress on purpose, because it looks AMAZING in a dress! There's no way I would cover up any of my tattoos-they're all classy and beautiful..

I have a tattoo of the 8th airforce symbol, which looks like a circle with wings with B24 (the plane my grandfather flew in WW2) written inside of the circle and made the B24 and the circle look like a bingo ball for my grandmother who is obsessed with bingo haha- hard to explain, but has lots of meaning. Since it is on my ankle though, I don't need to cover it up :)

I have one visible tat on my foot which I could care less about covering up. Besides, I like the way tattoos look with wedding dresses. Is that weird?

all of mine are not visible since they are on my rib cage-ish area. But I wouldnt necessarily cover mine. One of my bridesmaids has one on her bicep that she is going to have her friend/make-up artist cover since she doesnt love it. But tattoos are super personal, i think its up to the bride and her vision of herself that day.
