Can some one tell me how its possible that I OWE $$$$ With out giving all my financial info if the $$ paid in mortgage payments was the same as my princal interest to mortgage(that can be written off) and I claim a child and then left over with less then30K how do I have to pay..when every year i got back and now I even own a house??????

that does seem VERY unlikely. I would go somewhere else to get your taxes done. I have an awesome CPA to recommend if you're interested.

Did you have an accountant do your taxes? Did your employer withhold the correct amount during the course of the year?

Try to do an online calculator to estimate taxes online and see if they mesh.

That would depend on how much was withheld from your pay. If not enough was withheld, then you may owe.
It's worth a second look though.

if you did it your self do try to use one of the online free calculators to see if you still get the same amount owed and then go to a CPA to have them take a look at it. If you already used a CPA, go to a different one. If you need one, FM me for info on a great CPA.

Exactly, you might not be having enough taken out of each paycheck. What number do you put down on your W-2? For instance, my FH puts down 0 and gets a lot more taken out of his paycheck and a lot back from the Federal Gov't. I put down 1 and I don't get back as much as he does but, I get more in each paycheck.

Go to turbotax.com and try entering all of your info into their system. They don't make you pay until the very end so you can actually see how much you owe or are getting back for free.

I had A CPA do them and my exemptions on my paycheck is 2 was higher at my old job like 5??? but they did things so wrong over her.
