Do photographers charge tax? I know that service isn't supposed to be taxed and photography is a service but the books they give you are products which I think can be taxed. How does the whole tax thing work with photography? DO most photographers charge tax?

Yeah there's tax but some photographers will drop the tax if you are willing to pay cash. DJ's on the other hand (whether you pay in cash or not) are not supposed to charge tax so don't let them get over on you on that one.
