Since we don't pay taxes on clothes in NYC does this include wedding gowns??
I know in LI they charge tax but what about NYC? Anyone know?

Maggie there's a cap on what we don't get charged tax on, it was $110 (they may have increased it to $500) but I'm not sure. To avoid tax, I'm having my dress shipped to FH's aunt in CT. I know Kleinfeld's offers that, and I bought my dress from the Wedding Salon and all I did was ask and they were willing to do it
