TAX refund??? how's everyone elses??

ok, girls, i am getting back so much this year!! Yay!!!
paying off credit cards, my flower girl dresses, putting money away for extra things!!! i'm so excited!

i was really hoping for more but hey i am not paying anywhere IoI i will pull in about $800 then i think we get $300 for that plan bush signed off on so it all goes to the honeymoon.

FH got a little over 1k which will go to the honeymoon as well.

i wish i F*IN knew what i was getting...I brought in my taxes about 2-3 weeks ago but there was a problem bc of the whole me working in jersey and living in queens, there was some complication I know when i went he said one check will be $1500 and then when he went to tell me what the other 2 will be, i get 3 bc of working in jersey he realized there was a problem and is trying to fix it. The other 2 are usually lower so yeah not that happy with it but what can you do lol. Figure ill get 2k or so

I got a huge tax refund but I knew I was going to... I worked 12 weeks this summer at a law firm with very high pay and they taxed me as if I was making that all year which I clearly was not. It would be nice if they took out the correct amount to begin with, but the refund check is nice too.

FH also got a pretty big check because he started working full time in May, and they taxed him as if he was making his salary all year.



My dad is a CPA so we got a really fast turnaround

mine is over 6 g's!!! you can bet how excited i am!! but i have a daughter!! i get credits for her, but it's all going to the wedding!

good for you, thats great. Its funny bc i am getting back about the same amount i got last year and last year it was only for 3 months of working at my current job bc i started sept of 06 and we got our tax papers first week of january so i got over 2k for 3 months of work and now i get the same, but eh thats life. It will still help...but i get alot taken out each paycheck especially since i pay both new york and New jersey taxes, oh well

I got $1 less than last year..how is that?!?!?! It was over 1k so that helps

isnt that weird?? last year i started working only a couple of months, and got back a decent amount! this year is about the same. and it sux!!

I'm getting back almost $7k and Fh is getting back a little over $4K. We're paying off all our credit card debt....and we'll have a little left over to put towards the wedding. Woo-Hoo

Owning a home realllly helped both of us get this big return.

can you girls tell me what tax person youre using

luckily next year with owning a place we'll get more back and the good thing is that our maintenance will be around 50% deductible so at least we get 50% back of that and we wont claim 0 but still lol

FH pays taxes every year b/c of supplemental income and I dont think I'm getting anything back If i get $100 i'll be happy
