tax/accountant question
when you use an accountant to do your taxes, how long does it typically take to get them back?
we used an accountant for the first time (when we were in NY my fil did them for us, but since we moved and our taxes got a little more complex we wanted a pro to do them this year). we used a guy recommended to us by a family friend here and he works from his house. hes had our stuff for 2 and 1/2 weeks and i am anxious to get them back, but i dont want to bug him for them if it usually takes this long. does it usually take a few weeks? tia and sorry if this is a dumb question, but i just dont know.
