i HATE this time of year..i just got my taxes done and uncle sam is getting a wonderful 800 bucks..glorious

andddd since the appointment went over AN HOUR i didnt get to my florist appointment

that would be nice! i feel your pain. i cant tell you how much i pay in taxes...and get so little back!!!

unless you're in a wierd loop hole where your parents claim you bc you're under 23, but they only provide dependant credits for those up to 18

so for an awkward 5 years span that i fall in you get zippppp

I think it depends on your salary and other things. I only got a small portion of what most people got. : (

Taxes suck!! I had drama with mine this year too...but at least you'll be able to file joint returns soon. Even if it doesn't make you owe less money, it will mean you're married!!

you should have them withhold some taxes on the 1099 this way next year you won't have to pay or pay as much...

sorry to say but i like tax time. i guess thats cause i always get money back.

sorry to those who had to pay. FH has to pay lots of money because he has interest gaining CD's. in order to not pay as much he opened an IRA.

yes 1099s s^ck. they mean you are an independent contractor.

for those who received 1099s you should take out some of your pay & save it so you don't have to struggle at this time of year.

i know what you mean. FH is paying his & his moms this year. once we r married i will never get a refund.
