What type of temperament do they have? Is it true that they are sickly because of their size. I want to get one when we get married, but I don't want to get too attached to the idea if they are constantly ill and weak (since we both work and wouldn't be able to take care of it if it were consatantly ill . . .) They are just too cute and sweet looking though!

I have a pocket size yorkie. I think you have to be very cautious with a dog that size. You have to watch their diet too.

I want one of these soooooo badly!! They are the cutest things! But I would probably get a toy yorkie (I think the toy yorkies don't get any bigger than 4 pounds). I have heard the same thing about tea-cup size yorkies, that they get sick very easily.

An acquaintance of mine has one... he is so sweet! Not nervous or yappy at all. She named him 'Zeus,' which I think is hilarious -- he's only four pounds. Anyway, the only problem she has is that she's afraid she'll step on him! So she's very careful when she gets out of bed in the morning...

Danielle's dogs are both very lovable. They do bark when they hear the front door open, and when they are hungry or want something...but I think that is normal for most dogs.
The one other thing that you have to know is that they tend to have trouble breathing....Buddy makes a throaty sound when breathing, but that is because they have small lungs.
