Ok.. cause I am completely anal and a control freak, and I sorta helping to plan my shower.. We are having it at Lady Mendl's where they serve High Tea..
Anyway- I thought favors with tea would be great-- anyone know where/what web sites carry stuff? I have googled and found a couple of things.. Also- anyone know where I can find customized tea bags? The Knot has ones that say stuff like a 'Tea-riffic Couple'.. not really my taste. Any other ideas?

I rememmber seeing personalized tea bags...like the tags on them can have whatever you want written, I think on Theknot.com...but you can just type 'personalized tea bags' into a search engine..if that's the kind of thing you wanted.
A friend of mine had a tea-themed wedding, and I suggested for favors, that she collect pretty tea cup/saucers from thrift stores, usually around $1-2 a piece, and have them be the favors. Very mad hatter

My mom did tea favors for my shower. We both love Tazo. She found individual tins of loose teas. The top of the tin is a strainer. The flavors were Awake, Zen and Calm. (They sell Tazo at Starbucks, if you haven't tried it before.) If you want more information on where she got it, FM me and I'll get it from my mom. They are really cute.
The tea store in Roosevelt Field is very good. They sell unique combinations of loose tea. I love their mix of Jasmine Dragon Pheonix Pearls with Rooibos Tropica.

Ahh.. there was a time when 'stash' meant something else entirely..
Thanks-- I found those when searching on google. I really just want something that can be personalized-- without some type of 'love quote' on it.. Sorta like how you can personalize a napkin-- I think there may not be anything out there- we may just have to forgo that idea..

yes-- but also the outer paper if possible. I really have no idea what we would do- but I was just wondering if there were more simple forms of customizing them.
My mom is mad enough with me for even researching this.
I found these yesterday.. I think these might work- but I am not really sure exactly what they are- they look like matchbooks sorta with just a regular tea bag inside. I am really just trying to find enough 'ideas' so I can email my mom and she can be pointed in the right direction..
So far though, this seems to be the best option I have found.
