I have to say I think they are more than appropriate for spring, summer, fall even... not sure for winter.
I had tea length ( many eons ago) and thought they were adorable. I was a June bride and the dresses were a baby pink with a very faint white floral pattern. My mom made crinolans for them.. really cute.

Love mine, and my girls are actually planing on wearing them again! I didn't get this color though.....
PS I think it's fine for an evening wedding as long as it's during the summer, I didn't want anyone to roast in July with full length gowns and these are still formal
This is my dress and I'm getting married in Nov...evening. I think anything goes these days. I've worn cocktail and tea-length to evening weddings, on New Years and other winter occasions. My girls loved this dress. A few told me they were having their old bms gowns cut down to wear again. I just saved them the trouble.

Re: Tea-Length BM dresses
That's what my Bms picked out and they love the dress. I like it too and it is a flattering length b/c I have both short and tall girls. Long dress make the short girls look like they are lost in the dress.

Re: Tea-Length BM dresses
I love tea-length dresses. I would of had tea-length but since i was married in Feb I figured my girls would be warmer with full length.

I lopve them, but it depends on the overall 'feel' your going for... I am going for a really summery feel, so for me, tea-length was a definite.

I love tea length dresses especially during the summer. My girls are wearing tea length dresses from Bill Levkoff.

I loved the tea length. I think it depends on the look you are going for. For me, long gowns on the beach for my BM's weren't practicle. You can check the girls dresses out in my album
