Anyone know where I can find them in abundance?? Watters & Watters carries 1 or 2, same with Jim Hjelm...After6 & Dessy each have 1.
Anyone know if I can order floor length dresses - in the tea-length? I am absolutely *obsessed* with my BMs wearing tea-length instead of traditional floor length...but am having a bear of a time coming up with options.
Any help would be *most* appreciated!! Thanks!

Re: Tea-Length BM Dresses...
I don't know if full length gowns can be ordered in tea length or not, but I would love to know what you find out - I want my BMs in tea length too!

Re: Tea-Length BM Dresses...
Jessica McClintock has quite a few tea length dresses...
What about buying off the rack instead of a bridal place? Nordstroms, bloomies & macys all have great tea length selections!
also talk the store...they may be able to alter some floor length dresses...but you wouldn't be able to see the final product...until the end...

NYCMeghan...I thought of that option too - buying from Nordstrom's or something. Wasn't sure b/c I have an out of towner and didn't want to fall in love with a dress that couldn't be found in one of their sizes. But it's a definite option in the back of my head. (I still haven't found *my* dress...so I should prolly wait on the BM dresses but, like I said, I'm *obsessed*!)

Re: Tea-Length BM Dresses...
I have been browsing this site for about three months but I never post.
I, too, was looking for tea length dresses and had a hard time finding something that I liked. I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but I found this dress through J Crew. My girls love it.
I'm also looking for tea length bm dresses, and they seem to be very few and far between. Not only that, but most I've seen are expensive. I love this serefina dress, but the price range is $295- $550. If I ask my bridesmaids to spend that much on a short pastel dress, they might hang me! Serefina Thread also has some pretty options, but their prices are just as high. Thread That dress is $275 which I guess isn't too awful. I also like the dresses by Aria, and they're a bit more reasonable between $195-$305 depending on fabric. The only thing I don't love is I think this dress is a bit short. Aria

I also wanted to add that I recently saw a couple at Davids that aren't on the site or in magazines, but they were very limited in colors. One of the dresses was available in periwinkle, or dark lilac, and the other one was a floral pattern.

Re: Tea-Length BM Dresses...
my bridesmaids are wearing tea length dresses from a store called simple silhouettes - most of their dresses come in both floor and tea length. the store is in new york city, but they have a web site www.simpledress.com - i don't think that the models do the dresses justice - i personally think that my bridesmaids look a lot better in the dresses then the models do.

Re: Tea-Length BM Dresses...
these are the dresses my girls are wearing. i just ordered them from netbride.com. they are jim hjelm 'just separates'. you can also order any dress from any manufacturer & have it hemmed to tea length, or any length at all.

Spel, if you don't mind me asking, how much are you paying for that dress?

Re: Tea-Length BM Dresses...
spel...the dress you ordered for your BMs has been a front runner for quite some time. Where did you find those other tea lengths on JH? I only saw the white halter one and the plaid one. Am loving the others - thank you so much!!!
Would you mind divulging how much netbride was? You can FM me if you'd prefer. Thanks.

Re: Tea-Length BM Dresses...
Another suggestion which worked out for us is to contact the designer directly if you find something you like in a smaller store. I found this dress in Intermix that I LOVED but was $340 ! I contacted the designer directly and she was able to make us 7 dresses for $150 each. And my girls will definietly wear them again. here's a pic of me trying it on....

Also, you could just order floor length dresses and have them altered to tea length. That's what we did with our FG dresses. Tea length is diff. for most people based on height, so you'd prob. have to have it altered anyway and most floor length gowns would have to be shortened anyway, so you're not paying anything extra.

Re: Tea-Length BM Dresses...
I can not stress this enough...DO NOT order a Serafina bridesmaid dress. They are possibly the worst when it comes to customer service. A friend ordered from them, and NEVER received the dresses. See below....
