Re: teachers

i prefer the delayed openings.... we get to sleep in, yet dont miss a school day... i hate making up snow days, and any we dont use, we get back later in the year when the weather is nice and we already had one 'rain day'!

If it stops as late as they think and they concentrate more on the main roads than the side roads I think we have a chance!!

I am dying for a snow day! In my district , teachers still have to be at school at regular time if we have a delayed opening. The kids live local, the teachers are the ones that have to travel. It doesn't make sense!

My school is the same way. The teachers have to be in at regular time and the students get the 2 hour delay. To make it even worse 90% of the children in my school walk to the school....they dont even have to take a bus.
