I keep my Learning Objectives and lessons in a binder. I do not keep an actual book.

The fact that I am dreading tomorrow is why I'm getting out of teaching!

tough but fair, thats what i call it
i became an AP very young so i needed to stand my ground and prove myself basically

you tell 'em girl!!!

good for you!! thats a big accomplishment!!

i can't imagine myself not in a classroom

i used to feel that way and believe me, i do miss it but i get to teach whenever i want
i teach lessons all the time; sometimes just because, sometimes as demo lessons and i'll go in classes and do a read aloud so its the best of both worlds

I'm doing Personal Training, Fitness Programs for Kids, and Sport Training for youth teams. But I'm certified in Phys Ed so it's pretty related - but no mornings, I hate mornings haha. And I just don't think I was meant to be in a school - not my thing, ya live ya learn.
I have the utmost respect for teachers though.

Haha yeah, I figured that if I was miserable I really wouldn't be serving much purpose, I remember having teachers who were NEVER happy. I don't think I fake it for 45 years
The problem is I'm going to be making less money for a few months, but its ok, in the long run it's more important to be happy

It's either you're born to be a teacher or not. I donno, I feel that it's not a profession that you chose . I think it chooses you. I know I sound gay!!! My FH's brother thought he wanted to be a teacher so he came with me on a few observations and he realized 'wow, not for me' and changed his major!

I think your right, I majored in Movement and Sports Studies, and what the hell do ya do what that?? So I did the PE concentation, and, eh, it didn't really work out, so moving on. I see teachers that are miserable and wish they got out of it earlier, and I don't wanna be that. So yeah, it definitly takes a certain type of person, and good for all of you that are preparing the youth of america!!

its true, i believe you are born a teacher and you cannot give that love or passion to someone and you cant teach it
its something inside you that wants to do it

I'm just going to say I work at a middle school in eastern suffolk.
And I start my new job part time in a few weeks, and then I'll start full time when I can.

I'm such a baby about this stuff

Remind me to give you this 'seashell' thing our AP read to us on sicd. They gave each of us a seashell and some were broken and some were small and some were big and it was this beautiful poem about our students being like seashells. I was sobbing!!!!
