Re: teachers....
I knew all along I'd invite my principal and it only just dawned on me, duh! I gotta invite my music supervisor (I'm an elementary music teacher).

I don't know if it is the proper thing for me to do...my wedding is really small and my school is really BIG. I have spoken to my principal less than 10 times. No one at my school invites the administrators or even fellow teachers to their weddings. I may invite my AP...but not sure yet.

Re: teachers....
I'm not sure yet. I'm friendly with a lot of people, and I'm having a hard time deciding who to invite or not. My department is almost 30 people, and I'm friendly with more than half of them, but if I invite a few I feel like I have to invite them all.. and not just that I have friends in other depts... so hard to decide.

Re: teachers....
FH is a teacher. It's his first year at this HS, so he's just inviting the people in his department. I don't think he knows the admin yet!

I am not even inviting all of the people in my department.... I mean I feel bad, but I have to draw the line somewhere.

I'm currently student teaching, and I was wondering if I should invite my cooperating teachers?

Do you think that you will have a relationship with them afterwards?

Re: teachers....
i dont know if we will stay in touch in the long run. But I will be student teachign there again in the fall, and everyone there keeps asking about my wedding and how the plans are coming along. It's a little awkward because I'm not sure if they are expecting to be invited.

I think they would understand...people know that you can't invite everyone, ya know? They're just excited for you so don't feel bad!!

Re: teachers....
I'm not inviting anyone from work. I don't have a relationship with the other teachers and principal outside of work, so why should I? I'm having a small wedding and would rather invite people who actually mean something to me. I don't think it's the expected thing to do at all.
