we really cant complain...how great!!! my vacation started a bit earlier...yesterday was my last day

I need this break so bad! It's terrible, but I can't bear to be in the room with my class anymore. They are sooooo mean to one another, argue with each other and me, talk back constantly and a few are violent with each other. It's not all of the kids, but I have a rough mix this year.

i was just about to write the same thing! my class was TERRIBLE today and didnt listen to a word i said! and like u said they argue with each other and me its driving me NUTS

I have had parent meetings about, gotten the administration involved, taught countless lessons about it, spoke to kids one on one, in small groups, etc. Not sure what else to do. My principal constantly threatens suspension and even has the parents come up, but she never follows through so basically I am just stuck.

so just writing in this thread reminding me that i needed to make a few phonecalls and one parent tells me that her son came home and told her that one of the kids threatened him and said that he was going to take a knife out on the him during lunch..awesome i mean these kids are 7 years old W t f????

I know what you mean. I called 5 parents today and 4 yesterday. I had a girl cut another girl with scissors on Monday. Still no suspension!!!
