Teachers.. anyone know what i need to do if i want to...
change form general ed to special ed. i have my masters and passed all my tests and all that.Do i just need to take a few more classes in special ed and take another test?TIA

I'm not entirely sure about the NY State rules, but I would guess that you have to get another masters degree. Don't know about what tests you'd have to take in NY though.

Not sure- I went the other way- sped to gen ed. I didn't have to do anything since you don't have to student teach in gen ed if you did sped. You probably will have to student teach in sped.

I got my masters in special ed last year...it was 33 credits (I already had elementary cert now I have elem and special ed)
