I'm in shock. Had no idea what I was getting into...and now feel like complete crapola.
Amazing how in a day when we are trying to assess our own students in ways other than a TIMED, anxiety inducing test, WE are still being assessed in that way.
Do any of you know how you did on this test? How did you answer the questions? I feel nauseous that I didn't do well.

I am a teacher but for some reason I am unsure what this test is...can you explain?

Some districts require it. Apparently NYC does.
It's a personality test. Asks you the same question 100 times.
But it asks questions like 'A 16 year old comes to you crying. You know them. When you ask why they are crying, they say that they were caught cheating. What do you do?'
1- Make sure they understand why cheating is wrong 2 - Involve other people in the situation 3 - Tell them it will be ok, then talk to them about it 4 - Find out why they felt the need to cheat
It goes on and on like that...
Apparently people don't get interviews if they've scored poorly on it.

omg thats nuts! im a city teacher but i didnt have to take that!!! im guessing its new

That is sooo stupid..I am soo glad that I got out of teaching in NYC...You know I am soo less stressed teaching on the island...
