Teachers: Is anyone on the council for their school's NJHS?

If not, do you know about it? I have some questions regarding ethics and what your school's policies are.

My 2 friends are in charge of the NJHS in our school. You can let me know their questions and I can pick their brains for you.

Oh, I am the one on the board in my school. I was just wondering if it's really true that although the principal is NOT allowed to vote or even be present for the vote, then can they really override the vote? If so, what the HELL is the point of voting? I'm very frustrated.
