Teachers: What to wear to Superintendent's Meeting
tuesday is my first day of student teaching what do the teachers wear to the first day/meetings? business casual? suits?

well for us at good old east meadow we will be wearing BLACK anything...most likely our black union t shirts
we have no contract and it is going into its 3rd school year
lets just say we are NOT happy!
but I would suggest a nice top with dress capri pants (it is still summer) and some heel sandals
I never did the suit thing..only parent/teacher night

I always dress professional, no jeans or sandals. That's even for when you get your first job. When you're new you have to dress to impress because you don't know who is watching. Good Luck!!!

yeah, I just didn't want to go in too too dressed and stick out like the 'student teacher'
Then I'll go with my dress pants and nice shirt.

I would say most of the teachers will be dressed casually, but I think your choice of pants and shirt is a good choice.
