Teachers...Let's hope for a snow day!

How nice would it be to extend our break just one day more with a snow day?!! Let's all do the snow dance today/tonight!!!

Oh man I don't wanna get my hopes up....

Isn't it sad? I don't know about you, but I love my job - but I LOVE snowdays and vacations and all that! It's terrible!

Anyone work in queens - this is my first year and i was told that the city rarely closes. Is this true?

My first year in Queens as well and from what I've heard the BOE NEVER closes!!

**crosses fingers** I do enjoy my job too..but Im not feeling to good... , so Im kinda hoping it snows alot..even tho the BOE sux and they hardly ever close..

NYC public schools will be open! The last snow day we had was 5 years ago....

yup its true - but usually when it snows i have no more than 6-10 kids in my class, i guess they give themsleves teh snow day

ITs true. When it snowed earlier this month I went to work and I hardly saw any kids...I have 8 groups a day...I must of seen about 4 groups..my entire afternoon I wasnt doing much.
