I need some help ladies... originally i was booked with team JAY and something happend, some sord of miscommunication and so now i can't have JAY and i am booked with NICK as of right now but SAM is also available and i don't know which one to go for now. either SAM or NICK!? ahh! i have seen e-pics from nick on here that i love and are so beautiful, and just saw some taken by sam that are also so nice and beautiful. now i am confused and don't know which one i should go for. NICK is the one on the calendar for me right now, but SAM is available and if i choose him i'll just have to call and tell them.. i need help ladies, and some feedback on this!!!!!
PS: i will be going next week for my engagement/casual photos on the beach and it's suppose to be with NICK!!
Thanks so much for your feedback on this. Ahh, I am stuck and keep going back and forth deciding between SAM or NICK now, lol! I just want to make sure I choose the right one and I won't be dissapointed in the end - and i'm having a hard time deciding which one is good for us! So you were really happy with Sam huh!? Would you say he takes more traditional or modern pictures? And random shots or more planned shots?

I'm using nick and our e-pics came out great. He also just shot my friends wedding at the beginning of this month and some of the proofs she has gotten back are GREAT!
He is totally comfortable to work with and gets awesome candids!

yeah you specifically ask for a team you want to work with and if he is available than your lucky, if not than you have to have someone who is... if you didn't pick one, than they basically send you whoever is available for your wedding day! they are all great as i heard, but of course you always hear more about one other than the other... so it's all by personal preference and they all have their different unique work!! you can check out their website and look at each photographers work and profile!!

Ok, here's my two cents ...
We booked Sam's team. I've been on these blogs for a year and have NEVER heard anything bad about any Duet photogs. Why did we book Sam? Because when I went in, I told them my style and that I'm more traditional, simple - nothing crazy. And they recommended. I honestly think whoever you have from Duet will be wonderful. Just tell them what you like and let Eric tell you who makes sense. They seem so professional and good. You can't lose.

I was going to choose NIck but he was unavailable for my wedding month (time off???) so I went with Alberto who I also LOVED!
When I first heard of Duet I loved Sam but when you go in and see the books hes not edgy enough for me. If you like simple and sophisticated I think Sam would be your guy.
BUT ALLLL of them are grrreat!

well thats the thing and why i dont know who to go with because i like traditional but i dont want only traditional candids. i want random fun shots also. i love random fun crazy shots, where they go around taking random shots. not only planned traditional shots and it seemed to me that sam is a lot like that... do you know if nick is like that or does he take more fun random shots and not only traditional?? ahhhh, this is killing me - loL!

i'm not using sam, at least not as of right now. i am booked with nick for the e-pics as well as for my wedding as of right now. i'm going to see how it goes and if anything and i am not happy with his e-pics i can always change to sam. but now that i've been thinking more and about about this and looking over and over the pics sam and nick takes - i think sam seems to be more on the traditonal side, where he takes more old fashioned traditional pics. which that is great of course to have, i love those kind of shots. but i also happen to really love the random unplanned funny and fun shots that the photographers take and sam doesn't seem to have that side of him with his pics, so i don't know. plus, sam is more simple and i don't want really simple pics, i want fun shots. so i think i am better off just leaving it as it is and staying with nick. what do you girls say?
and as lauraandrob2009 said - you choose sam cause he has that tradtional simple personality and work. he fits you well, and i'm not sure if he would fit me in that case than and i never thought of that! thanks so much for pointing that out, that really helped me and helped me decide now!

thankssss, i feel so much better now - after looking at a few other brides albums of either their wedding or e-pics done by duet (as well as yours). i'm just going to stick with nick and i am sure i wont be dissapointed!
