Tech people... resume question.

I'm making a skills section in my resume, but where does vi editor and pico fit in? Would that be considered language, software/application, ___?

i have a section called technical skills... i would apply it in there...

Well I called the whole section tech skills, then I have them separated by 'software', 'databases', 'languages'. That's ok, I put it down in my job description area.

oh..i didnt know that. i have somthing similar but i have a breif paragraph explain overall what i have... then detailed broken down software/hardware

ahhhh ok, thanks. I'll do that for next application. I hate resume writing... I hate the whole job hunting process.

me 2... i just take resume, and alter it for a particular job... otherwise, its pretty gerneral cause its just filled with business jobs. when i apply for tech jobs, tech skills is better
