Are there technical names for different styles of pick ups in wedding gowns?
For example, most of the skirts with pick ups that have been around in the past, say 7-10 years, have been like the pic below. They're evenly scattered through out the skirt.
In the past two years, dresses with 360 degree pick ups, parallel with the hem, have begun to be become more popular. Like so:
