Has anyone ever had any experiences with BriteSMile or Zoom bleaching. I'm considering having this done but I'm looking for suggestions on which is better and lasts longer. Thanks!

Re: Teeth whitening
I have had zoom whitening done twice- it is great!! My teethe were super white...it was painful though, my teeth were really hurting me but I was fine the next day. The results lasted for about 7-8 months. I found the results MUCH better than whitestrips or anything like that. Please let me know if you need any further info!

I just used Crest Whitestrips Premium. I was more than happy with the results...and saved a bundle.

I am a dental hygienist and my office charges $550 for Zoom Whitening. If you have any questions you can FM me. I am also a WM Bride

Re: Teeth whitening
I paid $500 to have it done. It worked great, hurt a little. I wouldn't do it again though. I didn't feel it lasted long at all. I am a coffee drinker and within a couple of weeks my teeth looked back to their old selves. I am going to try the crest ones.

If you are a big coffee drinker none of the whitening procedures will last long for you. Coffee is one of the worst things you could drink because of how much it stains your teeth

Re: Teeth whitening
Two years ago I got the trays with the bleach from my dentist. There were two different syringes I got: toothpastey white paste and a clear gel (stronger). Each was to be worn for an hour each night for a week or five days or whatever since I wore one overnight and I woke up with shooting pains in my teeth!
It worked...but my teeth did not get 'movie star' white. My dentist said that everyone can only get 'so' white - it depends on the color of the pulp (? dental girls help me out) in your teeth naturally. It lasted for six months or so, but I am no where near as yellow as I was before I did it for the first time.
I am going to do either Brite Smile or Zoom or Rembrandt in-office whitening. Any recommendations as to the best and/or cheapest of the three?

Re: Teeth whitening
First of all, I would highly recommend the in-office over trays. At least you get it all over with in one shot.
I used zoom, and my cousin just had brite smile the other day- our experiences were pretty similar.

Re: Teeth whitening
I just did Brite Smile this past week. If 2 people do it (you and fiance), it costs $475 and if you do it alone, it costs $500. It originally is $600, but the dentist will give you a hundred dollar coupon.
My teeth were in incredible pain that night, but after going to sleep, I woke up fine.
You can also only eat white foods for 24 hours. It gave me an excuse to eat tortellini alfredo which I haven't had in over 5 years due to calories. That is one advantage.
As far as working, I have teeth issues to begin with, but it worked. You see a difference. My fiance is going in a few weeks, so we will see how it affect him.

Re: Teeth whitening
I tried Zoom and it hurt so much. I could only do it one night cause I was in to much pain. I am going to start up again closer to my wedding date. My dentist only charged $300 for it. Just doing it one night and I saw result. I think I might have kept it on too long cause the pain was really bad. But I was told that it doesn't hurt everyone. I definitely recommend it.
Good Luck

I got the Zoom done and it worked pretty well for $200. It hurt a little that night but nothing a couple of advil couldn't handle, and I have pretty sensitive teeth.
