Is anybody getting their teeth whitened before the big day? I've never had it done. I'm not sure how far in advance to start or what steps to take.

Re: teeth whitening?
I had mine done for the first time before the engagement party...and there was a remarkable difference if you looked at before and after pictures, but didn't like as wow as i expected if you just looked at it....especially for over $300....and I did mine a few days before the party. Also, I feel like with all the coffee I drink....it's not even as white now as when I first got it done a month ago

Re: teeth whitening?
I plan to but I currently have a custom tray from my dentist. The refills are only about 30 bucks but they take more time than the instant treatments.

Re: teeth whitening?
I find the crest white strips work pretty well. After seeing that Bridezilla cry from the pain, I'm actually AFRAID to get it done!

Re: teeth whitening?
I was actually at the dentist last night and spoke to him about this.
He can do the custom trays for me for about $450 -- my issue with that is you have to leave them in for 4 hours at a time for at least 7 days. He said I could sleep with them in but I don't think I like that.
He also offers the zoom for $550 -- which takes an 1 hour. It seems uncomfortable but he said the results are the same one is just a quick fix as opposed to every night for a week.
We are going with the zoom and are doing 6 months prior just to make sure we have no side affects or anything.

I had a gap too -- but i had that taken care of when I was younger. Did you ask about invisaline--I heard they aren't as expensive as when they first came out -- but I have no idea what they cost to begin with.
