Ha ha I have a dentist appointment approaching and this is definitely something I am going to ask about. I have used the crest white strips but those made my teeth VERY sensitive. I am wondering if my insurance will cover hmmm.

FH and I will do this pre-wedding. My dentist has some kind of pre-wedding package for couples.

I did Zoom about 2 years ago and I definitely would do it again. It made my teeth really sensitive for a few days but it goes away. It cost about $500 but it was worth it. I am going to do it again about a month before the wedding.

I never did any whitening but a friend of mine used Crest Strips and they worked pretty well. Get thr advanced pro ones though (a little more expensive but they did a better job for her than the regulars)

Re: teeth whitening

I'm currently bleaching my teeth-FH's friend is an orthodontist and made me custom trays, and gave me this whitening bleach that comes in a sirynge that you leave on for an hour-well it's definitely working.
After doing it a week I definitely see a noticeable difference.
I say it's a definite DO, but don't do it until your closer to your wedding date.

Re: teeth whitening

i did britesmile a few years ago. it definately worked but it wasnt crazy results like i thought it might be. my goal was like celebrity white teeth!

they also said that since i had fairly white teeth already, the change wouldnt be as drastic as if someone had darker or yellower teeth.

ive used crest whitestrips and i think they do a good job but im so bad that i never stick to it and always only do it for a few days. for the wedding though, i will make sure i do the full days unless i find another teeth whitening system just as cheap with good results

eta: i think it was like $300 and thats with a coupon. they always send coupons in email but not sure if you just have to sign up or you had to have been a client once. if you are interested though, just let me know and i could send you the emails

Re: teeth whitening

FH and i both want to do it closer to the wedding. but i'm not sure i'm going to go with the drug store brand (at most 35) or bright/go smile which is closer to 100. so any reviews/opinions would help a lot.

Re: teeth whitening

I did bright smile in 06.. It was painful and my teeth have been sensitive since. I have been maintaining it with crest white strips and they still look pearly white! LOVE WHITE TEETH!
