Re: Teeth Whitening
I have used the Crest Whitestrips before and think they work great and that's what I plan on doing before the wedding. My teeth are pretty white as it is so I don't really want to spend the money on professional whitening.
Advice though if using the strips - I would only do it either once every other day in the morning and at night or just do it once per day (so either once in the morning or once at night). I found that doing it the way the directions tell you makes my teeth extremely sensitive to the point where I can't even bite into food. Once I started doing it every other day or even every 2 days, it still work and the pain was gone.

Re: Teeth Whitening
Try the Crest White Strips.
I do have to tell you though ( I'm a dental hygienist) that whitening is UNPREDICTABLE. It does not work on everyone. Just b/c one person gets good results doesn't mean everyone will.
I just wanted you to be aware in case they don't work. I have tried everything under the sun, including having my boss try to whiten mine and I do not get any results.
I wish you the best

Re: Teeth Whitening
I agree with the Crest. They worked well on me but once per day is plenty. I'm in the middle of Listerine strips (the dissoluble ones this time) and they are working pretty well.
I tried them b/c at CVS they're $20 and there's an instant $5 off on the box...

Re: Teeth Whitening
I rinse once a week with hydrogen peroxide. It's super cheap and works great :)
(It's basically the main ingredient in everything that has to do with whitening, if you feel uncomfortable about using it go out and buy Listerine Whitening PRE-rinse mouthwash... Same effect just takes a little while longer)
HTH!!!

Re: Teeth Whitening
I just got a cleaning from my dentist last week, started using the Crest 3-D white rinse 2x/day and I'm on my 3rd day of Crest white strips. I'm already starting to notice a difference, but it's not like 'WHOA, look at my white teeth!'

Re: Teeth Whitening
does the peroxide make your teeth sensitive? do you mind if I ask why you only use it once a week as opposed to most things that are daily? Thank you everyone for your suggestions!

Because if I use it more than once a week they do tend to get sensitive but that's just how my teeth are, not everyone would be effected the same way :)
Good luck!!! Oh! and you can brush with baking soda once a week too :)
