For those of you getting your teeth whitened, are you doing it professionally or with the strips or something else? And for those who have done any of the above, how did it pan out? I didn't really want to spend the money on professional whitening and was hoping you had good experiences with the strips or pens.

Teeth Whitening
I've whitened my teeth before with whitening strips. I've used a few different brands, but the only ones that I felt made a noticable difference were the Crest ones. I was happy with the results. The only thing to mention is that the strips don't go all the way back on your molars. It's really not a big deal though since all the teeth you see when you smile will be whitened.

Crest white strips all the way! Spend the extra money to get the more expensive ones and you will be grateful. Actually, Costco has a package with the 30 minute strips and one set of the advanced 2 hour strips. Amazing!

I'm going to use the strips about a month before my wedding. My brother has used them before and says they are great - just make sure you are using mouth wash and toothpaste with fluoride in it before to keep your enamel strong.

I was going to do zoom but my dentist couldn't fit me in before the wedding. So I decided to do bright smile which is a place in the mall. I did one 15 min session and will go back for a second, I don't see too much of a difference. Hopefully after the second treatment I will. If that doesn't work I will try the strips. I really wanted my teeth to be white white- so I am regretting not contacting my dentist earlier.

I've used Crest White strips--I already have a new kit to use before my wedding. The only thing to warn you about it is that it caused my teeth to be very sensitive. I don't know if it does that to everyone, but towards the end of the treatment, my teeth were so sensitive. I'm not going to use them too often before the wedding because I do not want to deal with sensitive teeth on my wedding day

Ive seen pretty good results with Crest strips but my teeth were SOOOOO sensitive after it, it was almost unbearable. I could barely eat it was so bad!! A tip is to use sensitive toothpaste for at least 2 weeks before applying the strips. Def helped me with the sensitivity. Also (for anyone who wears retainers) I wear my invisalign retainers at night and during my nightly brushing, i dont rinse out whitening toothpaste with water, i immediately put on my retainers and ive noticed my teeth have gotten a lot whiter. dont know if its safe lol, but i like the results! Good luck!

crest white strips for sure! I once did the teeth whiting thing at the mall and wasn't impressed for the amount of money i spent for 15 minutes! I always get compliments on how white my teeth are...
