Tell about the best/worst Christmas you've ever had

this will be the worst. I wont be home for christmas and it makes me sad that I wont be with my family. I am trying to be really positive about it becuase i dont want to ruin it for FH, we are with his this year but i want to cry thinking about what my family is doing. I told me mom not to tell me anything! lol.

I have had lots of really great ones, but my 2 favorite are the last christmas that my whole family was together and my grandma was alive, my aunt and cousins and everyone where there havent been together since then in 9 years (after g-ma died) and alsoooo a few years ago we took a hawaiin cruise for christmas, I think we were on Maui for christmas. i realllly didnt want to go becuase i thought i would miss the tree, presents, christmas morning etc. but it was the BEST time and christmas was alive alll over that boat and with the people, it was great!!!

worst xmas ever.... 2 years ago, my aunt passed away on xmas eve,
luckily 2 hours prior my brother and I got to say our goodbyes

i miss her terribly!

Sorry, l took a break to call my Cousin in Iowa, to see if my package arrived yet. It hadn't, but they have a ton of snow!!! Wow, Pamela,you do live far away!!! I don't know what I'll do if any of my kids move far away!!!!! Mary MOB

def worst x mas ever was when my 3 older sisters and older bro told me there was no santa

This is one of my best and worst at the same time.

Its wonderful because its our first engaged Christmas, even though its our 4th together.

Its horrible because I've lost my dad and my fave uncle in the last 14 months...and it stinks to spend the holidays without the people you love.

I just watched a video I have on my digicam because its the only video I have now with my dad's voice and laugh. I miss him.

I have never had a bad Christmas. Every one seems more magical than the one before because my Mom does such an amazing job of making Christmas really festive and special. Plus Christmas Day is my Sister's birthday! So that always makes the day even more fun!

I am worried that this Christmas may be my worst since I am really really sick with this awful awful head cold. I am just praying it doesn't turn into an infection.

I hope I feel better tomorrow

my best christmas was about 5 years ago, witch was the last christmas spent with my grandpa! still i cant believe he is gone and still i am not over it and yes it has been that long and i still dwell on it and cant get over it! he was like my 2nd dad, i was very very close to him and love him dearly and miss him dearly! grandma and grandpa lived in PORTUGAL (where my family comes from) and they came to spent not only christmas and new years with us, but the entire winter! they were with us here in the USA for about 6 months and than 4 days after new years they left back to their home in portugal and he passed away on the flight back home! it was the worst phone call ever and worst day of my life but best and last christmas with him! the entire family was together and that was definately the biggest and happiest goodbye with him and i am so glad the entire family was together and made it special and we have that day to hold on to forever with him! =[

as im typing this today on christmas eve, we my family at home are very sad and cant stop talking about him and wish he was here with us! =[ but i guess i just have to think positive and say he is safe in heaven watching over us and celebrating with us and by our side thru this day and every day of our life! :) but what makes it worse is knowing my grandma is in PORTUGAL alone and not here with us cause she was too stuburn to get on a plane and come spend the holidays with her this year (last year she was here with us).. ahh, no one can convince this women! but she promised us next winter she will be here with us! :) i really hope so!

sorry guys, this was a long post.. hehe!

on a lighter note...

our funniest christmas (in retrospect) was when we were all at my aunt's house and the tree was upstairs, and there were candles lit and holiday music playing it was really nice.

the ladies were in the kitchen cleaning up after dinner, when all of the sudden we smelled fire in the dining room.

my uncle yells... THE TREE IS ON FIRE!!!! we all get up and run through the kitchen, upstairs (leaving the babies strapped in at the table!!)

the tree wasn't on fire. when we came back down one of my aunt's must've put the napkins next to a candle and those were on fire!!! We all ran past it!!! ( It wasn't big and there were alot of things on the table.) My uncle threw everything into the sink!!!

The kids were crying at the table. There was smoke. needless to say it was a memorable christmas!!!
