Tell me about this slipper basket.......

I keep hearing about this and I am not exactly sure how it works. Does anyone have any pics of their slippers or basket? What kind of slippers are all of you buying? This sounds like it could get expensive.
If I am understanding correctly it sounds like a great idea.

I'm using the lil chinese slippers that you see everywhere. They're not expensive if you know where to shop, my mom and I have been picking them up at the dollar stores.

Then put them in a bag, or we're wrapping them in tissue paper. Attach a lil note that says what they are and put them in a basket (or decorated box).

Haven't finished this project yet so I don't have any pics (sorry!) but I'll post them as soon as it's done!!

i've always thought this was a cute idea. but FH hates those slippers (no offense, i like em). so he told me that i can never wear them! boooooo! imagine if all my guests showed up wearing them?!

You can also use little house slippers. They aren't too expensive.
