I missed mine because of a wedding I had to go but I remember my friends telling me this -

It was at a so-so restaurant, food was ok, it was an afternoon luncheon, no drinks were included (I don't remember what they paid per person to go)

She said it was interesting to see how some of the girls changed, b(some got really pretty, some gained weight, who had been married, etc) we went to an all-girls high school btw

She said it was a lot like high school since there really wasn't a lot of mingling, the same groups still sat together

They gave out prizes for who had traveled the farthest, had the most children, stuff like that.

Only one or two girls brought their husbands. For the most part she said it was ok.

Cancelled for lack of interest. I actually had a wedding on that day so I couldn't make it.

I didn't go to mine, I didn't have any desire to. Maybe I will go to the 20 year.

Didn't make mine...honestly, I really didn't want to go. It was $65. pp and it was going to be held in the school up where the nuns lived.

Maye I'll go to the fifteen, if there is one.

I didn't go to mine, but I remember it being this big 2-day affair, with informal brunches and golfing and formal dinners and a dance. It just seemed like an awful lot of time to spend with people I don't like...

Did not go to mine. I had a lot of friends in High school, but have no desrie to see people I do not talk to and for the few i still am friends with, why would I want to spent money to see them when I can have them over anytime. My friend went and told me it was the same old cliques, etc. Glad I did not waste my time or money on that shin dig. My next one will be the 20 year one and I have no desrie to go to that one either. I will buy the book just to catch up, it is a hell of a lot cheaper.

My 10 yr was just last week and I didnt go. Mostly b/c it was $85 pp at the New Hyde Park Inn. I have seen most of the people at the local bars anyway.

What did you like about it? I loved the fact that my sil and I graduated with me. So my bro go to go. We had such an awesome time. Plus we still have friends we still hang out with. so it was more like a night than seeing people that we had not seen. I also like to think I got better with age so it was more 'in your face'. lol.

What did you dislike about it? I had the best time. wished it would have been longer.

My 10 yr was at Sfuzzi in the World Financial center (in 1996). I don't remember how much it was but maybe $40 and it was just drinks (I think - I really can't remember - one of my best friends ran it, she'd kill me for not remembering!!).

I had a good time. I can't say there was anything I didn't like about it. Other than the friend who organized it, I only keep in touch with two other people (I mean on a regular basis), so to me it was nice to see people I hadn't seen in ten years and talking to people who I never really talked to in HS (there were over 700 kids in my graduating class) and also how much some people changed and how some seemed almost exactly the same.

I look forward to the 20th reunion because (a) now I'm married and can bring (drag) my husband and (b) I hope to be pregnant or a mother by then!!!

I went to mine... my 10th... it was in the city at some lounge and they had the audacity to chage 85$ per person. I went with my husband (dragged him, yes) and 2 of my best friends from HS.

I actually had a great time b.c. i was a big ol NERD in HS. Like bottom 5% of popularity. I had some surgery done to my jaw and look totally different... gained some weight (a good thing i was a beanpole in HS) and have a hot husband. The worst part was all the people who were so mean to me in HS were all talking to me, like we were friends all along. Good thing was seeing all the mean jocks got really fat and bald, like you always heard happened!

My DH didn't go to his... I'm probably not going to another one until our 25th (if I still look good! LOL).

Mine was at Bridgeview in Nov 2001 - $75 a person.

It was interesting - kind of sad because you really didn't have time to talk to everyone and these people meant so much to you throughout school and it was weird because you knew you wouldn't see a lot of them again and next time (say 20th or 25th reunion) - we would really look old!!!

I went to mine years ago - don't remember the cost. It was at a restaurant and the food was pretty good. I liked catching up with people and seeing what their lives were about now. I had brought my hot boyfriend (now ex) and all the popular girls were hanging all over him - right in front of their husbands! He made me look so good, telling everyone how wonderful I am. A lot of people brought photo albums of their families or places they've traveled. We all went out to a bar afterward and the same girls were hanging all over my man again. I thought it was funny.
