Tell Me I'm Overreacting!

Tell Me I'm Overreacting!

My sister called me up that she bought some hair pieces to wear as my bridesmaid. The hair pieces are kind of extravagant and bridal. I haven't found a nice hair piece that I liked so I was thinking about going plain. I know this sounds total BRIDEZILLA but I kind of don't want her to wear a hair piece bc its so bridal looking and I don't want to look plain next to her.

My sister really wouldn't care if I asked her not to wear it. I feel terrible for feeling this. This wedding is making me cray cray!!!!!!

I don't think you sound like a bridezilla. If you're not wearing anything in your hair and she has something super extravagant I think it's a little odd. The bride sets the tone!

If it makes you feel better, one of my BMs asked if she could wear Toms. Not just for the reception, for the whole thing. I felt totally bridezilla saying 'I'd prefer if you wore shoes for the pics and ceremony.'

We're all going cray cray thinking we're cray cray!!!

No you aren't over reacting. As the bride, you should stand out and be special. No one should steal your thunder, even your sister. If you are going plain, then I would ask her not to wear the head piece esp if its extravagant and bridal.
