Tell me not to be worried

Tell me not to be worried

So, my dress won't be coming into until about 5 weeks before the wedding and I'll be out of town for about a week between when it arrives and my wedding. I don't think that I'll need a lot of alterations, but I think that I'm a little nervous. Any girls out there with a limited time between their first fitting and their wedding that can tell me I'll be fine.

So you'll have a month between your first fitting and the wedding? That should be enough time, unless there is a very long backlog. Make an appointment for right when you get back. Schedule it before you leave. Good luck.

I'm sure it will be fine, especially since the seamtress/bridal salon will know you are in a time crunch--I'm sure they will work with you to make it work! don't worry!

my gown is not in yet, and won't be for another 3 weeks.
I am nervous as H E Double Hockey Sticks but i'm sure it'll be fine for me, as well as you.

it's normal to be nervous, but it's something we can't change so we kind of have to just go with the flow you know?

naaaaaaaaa! Don't stress...it only takes them a couple of days to do alterations anyway. Talk to the seamstress if your nervous and make sure that they make you a priority!

Re: Tell me not to be worried

I'm feeling much better. I'm a pretty low stress bride and this was the first time that I got a pit in my stomach about the whole planning process. Now after all your encouraging words and I can go to sleep and not toss and turn.
THANKS!!!
