I have gone to several
-Estee lauder I liked
-Nordstram Spa was okay
-Green something or other on the miracle mile I can not think of the name right now. Near estee lauder
-Holistic health Center in Syosset it is the school where they give massages it was cheaper

If you are looking for Spa I like out of all of them Estee lauder personally

Ive been to Elizabeth Arden in the City - the service, treatments - everything was great.

I've also been to Rain Day Spa in Long Island for my bachelorette party which was also great. The massages were excellent.

I know this won't help you unless you go to SF anytime soon. But the Claremont in Berkeley, CA is amazing.

DePasquales in New Jersey..it was the best ever...they serve you food and drinks while you wait for your service..it was awesome!!

Glad you liked Rain, I work there!
The most beautiful spa I've ever been to is Sante
but that's in S. Africa.
As far as massages, there's a great place in NYC called Sal Anthony's Movement Salon. The place isn't gorgeous or anything, but the therapists are really good!
Canyon Ranch is also really nice (I've yet to try the one in Lenox, Mass. though).

I've only been to one, and now I'm totally addicted to the spa experience.

A girlfriend and I went for a weekend to the Hershey Spa in Hershey, Pa. Stayed at the Hershey Hotel. A bit expensive, but well worth it.

I recommend staying away from Spa Adriana in Huntington.
