HA HA!!!! I love this!!!
Ok, I always like to start with 'Once Upon a Time....'
I used to be under-weight...ahhh those were the days and my grandpa started to call me Flaca, which means skinny in Spanish. It stuck with me as a name all through High School and currently (kind souls they all are that still call me skinny....LOVE IT!) and Taca just rhymes so it stuck. Flaca-Taca.

My fiance likes to call me skinny female taco. That is his personal translation of Flaca and Taca.

I'm so glad to know what this means!! As I said in previous posts, I often find myself saying FLACATACA for no reason!! It gets some pretty strange looks!!


For my name, it's my first initial and part of my last name.

Su: I am Sue. In high school, I used to spell Sue as Su' (with a hyphen on top of the u)

My english teacher actually did it that way once, since there are not any E's in my first name. And, it stuck.

the N stands for Nancy my name.
Bird....My FH found out that I hated sappy nicknames between couples...so he found every nickname possible to call me from honeybear, honey bunny, honey butt.....and on and on...finally honey bird came up and eventually (thankfully) it shortened to bird. Now he often calls me Nancy Bird or NBird.

And yes, I still hate nicknames!!! (but I smile whenever he says it anyway!)

I'm always cold - shawls everywhere!

Everyone's comes from the FH - mine comes from my Daddy. He always referred to me as 'Blondie' or 'Tootabelle' - have no idea where that came from!

Same here. My dad used to call me Chichila & my brother Chichilo before he passed away.

In spanish (dominicans), Chichi is a slang term for baby. And in the spanish language -la is feminine, and -lo is masculine.

Voila! ChichiLA. lolol

I can't tell you how far off I was in pronouncing your name!!

I'm so glad to know how to say it now!! I think it's a pretty name - if you have a daughter one day you can name her that!

Mine is the name of a character from Japanese mythology. Keohime was a girl who fell in love with a priest who jilted her. So she turned into a dragon and hunted him down and gobbled him up!!

Mine is from a line from an REM song, ' I'm a tourist in the 4th Dimension' it was in my head at the time.

and I thought it was simple & easy to remember, and a little different.
