Tell me what u think ..im considering having

cookies instead of cake for the guest... im just sick of common things .i just want something different

people really react when you do something different at your wedding. Its your day, make it about you. Who cares if its untraditional. The more you shine through, the more your guests are going to enjoy themselves. If we all had generic weddings how boring would it be

Love that idea! Ps: there is a cookie place that puts photos on their cookies!
You could put a cute pic of you and the hubby to be on the cookies! They taste good too!

My sister was at a wedding once where they had a cupcake Cake!

I don't know if this is common but it definitely sounded interesting and different to me!

alot of places have cookies out with the cake you should check into it .. My place does it all ice cream , cookies , choc.covered straw. I cant wait lol .

it's your wedding! do whatever you want.

i'd love to get cookies. I'm a cookie monster.

the only thing is that you will miss the cake cutting pictures. that would be my personal concern.

then again you will have so many other better pictures. it shouldn't make a difference. go for it!

I think cookies are a good idea to have at the wedding- but I also don't think it's a complete dessert. People like having something to linger over while having their coffee. A cookie is gone in 2 bites. Plus if they see you cutting a little mini cake in front of them, they may wonder why they aren't going to get a piece. JMO

Ask your hall... i didnt' realize this until I finalized my menu this week...we get a dessert (we chose peach melba) PLUS pastries and cookies that are left on the table with the coffee AND the wedding cake. gives people a little variety. perhaps your place offers different options.

me, i am definitely doing the cake. i guess i am a bit of traditionalist....

Hey date twin , make your wedding unique is the best way to go . you always want people to remember, its great when 10 years from now people still talk about the uniqueness of ur wedding and every time they see it at someone else wedding they will say 'hey remember _____ wedding she had that frist'
